Cowley College student arrested for sex crime

He is accused of indecent liberties with a minor

ARKANSAS CITY, Kan - Police in Arkansas City have arrested a Cowley College student for a reported sex crime involving a minor. 

19-year-old Jordan Andrew Tuttle of Bristow, Oklahoma is being held in the Cowley County jail on a charge of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, and contributing to a child's misconduct by sheltering or concealing a runaway. 

Tuttle was arrested Sunday night at Storbeck Dormitory, after police got a report of the discovery of a girl who was not a Cowley College student.  The girl was a 15-year-old runaway from Oklahoma who had been staying with Tuttle.  The girl was returned to the custody of her mother.
