WICHITA, Kan. - A Wichita animal rescue group is asking for help finding whoever glued a dog's eyes and mouth shut.
The group "Beauties and Beasts, Inc." shared a post on Facebook showing the rescued dog that had been abused. The group statedsomeone found the dog in Oaklawn February 26 and brought her to an emergency veterinarian.
The rescue stated the dog had suffered bruising and had superglue on her eyes and mouth. Beauties and Beasts stated they believe it was an intentional act, and they want to help catch whoever is responsible.
"We are looking to offer a reward (over $1,000 and counting) for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this disgraceful act of cruelty," the rescue stated.
