Wichita - A Sedgwick County jury delivers a guilty verdict in the case of a man who led Wichita Police on a deadly chase in 2016.
The jury finds Alex Davis guilty of first-degree murder. Davis was facing 11 counts in connection to that case, which resulted in the death of a 91-year-old man.
Davis had stolen a Volkswagen Jetta and was driving it eastbound on 21st street at Arkansas when he ran a red light and hit the Ford the victim was driving.
That man, James Dexter of Wichita, died after the crash in a local hospital. Davis hit Dexter when he ran a red light at 21st Street and Arkansas in a Volkswagen Jetta he had stolen.
