A crash involving a motorcycle Friday evening killed 22-year-old David Nguyen, of Wichita.
Police say Nguyen was riding west in the 1500 block of West Pawnee. A witness reported he was traveling at a high speed when he hit a car that was pulling out of a private drive.
Nguyen was thrown from his motorcycle and died at the scene. Police say he was not wearing a helmet, and that this is Wichita’s third fatal motorcycle crash in 2019.
The driver of the car that was involved was not seriously hurt.
