WICHITA, Kan. - A Wichita man has been sentenced in connection to a federal investigation into illegal gambling operations in Wichita.
Jack Oxler, a former assistant tennis coach at Bishop Carroll High School was sentenced Friday morning in federal court in Wichita. Oxler pleaded guilty in February to one count of operating an illegal poker gambling business and one count of operating an illegal sports betting business.
He was sentenced to 2 years of supervised probation for each count. The sentences will run concurrently.
