WICHITA, Kan - The stepmother of a missing Wichita boy will be asking a judge to reduce her bond so she can be released from jail.
An attorney has filed a motion for 26-year-old Emily Glass, and a hearing is scheduled Friday, March 16th in Sedgwick County district court. The motion is asking for a reduction in the $50,000 bond that was set for Glass, who is charged with a misdemeanor of child endangerment involving her one-year-old daughter.
The attorney has argued that Glass is not a threat to the community and wants to be released to be with her husband. Her daughter is now in state custody and she is involved in a child-in-need-of-care case.
