Second man arrested after liquor store robbery

One suspect was shot in the leg.

WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita detectives and the FBI investigated the robbery of a liquor store Tuesday afternoon, at Lincoln and Woodlawm.

Two men reportedly took cash from the store around 12:30 p.m. An employee shot at the suspects as they ran off, and an 18-year-old was hit in the leg. He was still in the hospital as of Wednesday morning, and police say he will be booked into jail as soon as he recovers.

The second suspect got away, but investigators were able to identify his car. A 19-year-old was arrested  shortly before midnight Tuesday, in the 3600 block of North Hydraulic.

Investigators believe the suspects may be connected to a couple other robberies around Wichita, but no specific cases were given.
