Officials with the Moundridge school district say they're looking into an anonymous threat of a possible shooting at the high school.
In a statement on the USD 423 web page and on social media, superintendent George Leary said the threat was received Tuesday morning. It's being investigated by Moundridge police, the McPherson County sheriff's office and the school district. Leary said they are following up on several leads, but there is nothing official to release.
Some students were allowed to go home early if their parents picked them up or gave permission for their release. Leary said any students with information on the threat are urged to contact Moundridge police, the McPherson County sheriff or the school district office.
