WICHITA, Kan. - Severe Weather moved through parts of the KFDI listening area Monday night and early Tuesday morning but skipped Sedgwick County.
Ping pong ball size hail fell in Reno County, and severe storm warnings were issued in Cowley and Butler Counties between 2 and 3 a.m. So far, the only overnight damage reports in Kansas show tree limbs and power lines down in far southeast and eastern Kansas.
Wichita has another chance for severe storms this evening. Isolated thunderstorms may impact southern Kansas during the afternoon hours, but the National Weather Service says the better chance for storms will be tonight.
