Two injured in north Wichita shooting

A man and a baby were hit by shrapnel

WICHITA, Kan - Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that was reported in north Wichita early Tuesday afternoon.  A man and a seven-month-old boy were left with minor injuries when they were hit by shrapnel.

The shooting was reported just before 2 p.m. in the 2400 block of North Chautauqua.  A home in the 2400 block of North Lorraine, a block to the east, was hit by one of the bullets.  

There were reports of two men firing shots and then leaving in a vehicle.
