Two men charged in Wichita robbery

They were arrested after a liquor store holdup

WICHITA, Kan - Federal charges have been filed against two Wichita men for the robbery of a south side liquor store earlier this week.

18-year-old Raquan Hill and 19-year-old Jamaryus Moore were each charged with one count of robbery.  They're accused of robbing the F&K Liquor Store at 902 South Woodlawn Tuesday afternoon.   They got money in a plastic bag and then left.  Prosecutors said a store employee saw the two men standing outside and he feared they would return to shoot him.  When one of the robbers turned back toward him, the employee fired two shots from his own gun, striking Hill in the leg.  The employee then held Hill at gunpoint until police arrived.

Moore was arrested later after police identified the car he was driving.

The two men are facing sentences of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 if they are convicted.
