Wildlife, Parks gets an interim secretary

Linda Craghead will run the department

Governor Jeff Colyer has appointed Linda Craghead to serve as the interim secretary for the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism. 

The current secretary, Robin Jennison, is stepping down to become the executive director of the Kansas State Fair.  

Governor Colyer issued a statement thanking Jennison for his willingness to serve the people of Kansas. He said Craghead has done an excellent job as assistant secretary.   Craghead has served at the department since 2011, and she has managed the park and tourism divisions of the department.  She is from Alma and graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Animal Science and Agriculture.
