This is a song I can’t quit listening to. Brothers Osborne’s latest single is “Shoot Me Straight.”  This will be on their new CD that comes out April 20th. (“4/20.” I don’t think that is a coincidence for those guys).

The CD is called “Port St. Joe” because that is where they recorded the project.  Port St. Joe is in Florida. I think “Shoot Me Straight: is brilliant.  This song really showcases T.J’s vocals, which are amazing! He hits a really low and gravely not when he sings, “make it burn” at one point in the song.

Then, his brother John showcases his guitar skills during a long guitar solo.  It is a great mix that lets both guys showcase their skills.  A note – the album version of this song is over seven minutes long!  It is pretty much half singing and half guitar jam.
