Don’t fall for a holiday gift exchange called “Secret Sister” because it’s really a pyramid scheme. The Better Business Bureau says consumers should avoid what is really considered by law to be illegal gambling. The scam promises 36 gifts in exchange for one $10 gift.

The scam is circulating again on social media after surfacing for the first time in 2015.
