Two teens are in jail for three armed robberies from Sunday morning, but police are investigating four other robberies from Saturday and one from Sunday night.

On Saturday,  Kwik Shops at 29th and Arkansas, Hydraulic and MacArthur, and 47th and Clifton were robbed. The QuikTrip at 31st and K-15 was also robbed. These businesses all lost money, and reported being robbed between 7:45 p.m. and 8:25 p.m.

Wichita police believe these cases are connected. The suspect is described as a man with a gray Nike hoodie, gray sweatpants, and a mask of either a skull or monkey with white teeth.

A 16-year-old and 17-year-old are charged with three robberies from Sunday morning. Money was taken from the Kwik Shop at George Washington and Oliver, the Phamily Express at Pawnee and Laura, and the American Gas at Harry and Hydraulic.

Later Sunday, the Subway at Seneca and Pawnee was robbed. Someone came in and took cash around 6:45 p.m. The suspect is described as white man, between 20-30-years-old, 5-feet-6-inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket with a gray hoodie underneath, and gloves.

Anyone with information on these cases is asked to call police at 316-268-4407, or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.

To help businesses fight robberies, the Wichita Police Department suggests keeping cash in registers to a minimum, keeping businesses well-lit, and calling 911 to report any suspicious activity. Police also suggest having a robbery plan in place and discussing it with employees.
