The KBI confirms a suspect in a double homicide that happened Thursday night in Iola has been captured. 38-year-old Ben Converse was found in Tulsa early Friday evening. He was considered a person of interest in the murders of Molly Wilson and John Tadlock.
On Friday evening around 5:00, Converse fled law enforcement on foot before turning a handgun on himself.
The KBI has not released details about his injury other than it is life-threatening and self-inflicted. The agency reports his capture was a multi-agency effort involving the Broken Arrow Police Department and Tulsa Police Department.
