Retired Wichita police officer Brian Arterburn has been moved to an ICU while he’s recovering from a recent surgery.
The Facebook page, Wearing Blue for Brian, has been providing periodic updates on his condition. Arterburn reportedly had a shunt replaced in brain.
Arterburn’s recovery is ongoing, nearly two years after he was seriously hurt while trying to stop a stolen vehicle. The man convicted of hitting him was recently sentenced to 28 years in prison.
