A woman is dead after being involved in a police pursuit Friday afternoon.
It happened in Montgomery County after 1:00 pm. 29-year-old Carla Tewell of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, led police on a chase that began on highway 166. She rolled her vehicle four times when failing to negotiate a curve as she entered highway 75 two miles north of Caney.
Tewell was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident. Her vehicle went through a guard rail before rolling down an embankment four times.
