“Officer Tank” is being sworn in as the newest member of the Hutchinson Police Department.
Tank is joining the K-9 unit as a narcotics dog, and he will help officers track down drugs as well as suspects and lost children.
Because of the expected turnout, the swearing-in scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday was been moved to the main area of the courthouse in Hutchinson.
