Wichita police have arrested a 30-year-old woman in connection with a home burglary last spring in which a dog was beaten to death.
A homeowner reported the burglary in April in the 700 block of North Mount Carmel Court, and he said he found his American bulldog, “Buffalo Boy,” dead. The dog had been beaten with a bat that was left near a doorway, and the homeowner reported that his laptop and headphones were taken.
The woman was arrested Thursday and booked into jail for burglary, theft and animal cruelty charges.
