A father and son have suffered minor injuries following a grass fire in the 5000 block of North Hoover in Harvey County.
Our news partners at KWCH 12 report the fire broke out around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, and also caught a 30 x 30 shed on fire. The two suffered injuries after trying to put the fire out themselves. They were taken to Newton Medical Center, then Via Christi St. Francis, and have since been released.
Fire officials say 50 percent of the shed was damaged along with some items inside.
