Wichita State University is giving out five more miniature motor cars to children with limited mobility Saturday morning.
WSU engineering students customize the cars for each child and provide continued support them by maintaining their pint-size vehicles. WSU’s GoBabyGo program has outfitted 60 cars for children across the Midwest to date.
One of the recipients is a two-year-old girl named Irasema, who has a chromosomal deletion and heart defect that limits her mobility. She will receive a pint-sized vehicle at no cost to her family.
