A development group involved in the project for a new baseball stadium in Wichita has created an advisory board that will help in the establishment of an entertainment district around the stadium.
Wichita Riverfront LP has named four executives in private development to serve on the advisory board. Riverfront managing general partner Lou Schwechheimer said the board will provide expert advice that will help transform the land around the new ballpark into a world-class entertainment destination.
The board members are Brian Fallon, president of development for The Davis Companies of Boston; Tim Connelly, former partner in Brown Brothers Harriman and Company of New York; and Chuck Irving and Juan Prieto of Davenport Properties of Boston.
Construction continues on the new baseball stadium for games by a Triple-A team that will be relocating from New Orleans to Wichita. The stadium will be completed next March.
