Storms are expected to become more widespread after 5:00 pm as storms from western Oklahoma and western Kansas move into the area. Severe storms will be possible with any storms late this afternoon and especially this evening with half dollar to golf ball size hail and 65 mph winds possible.

There will also be an elevated risk for severe storms southwest of a Hutchinson to Winfield line where hail up to 2 inches in diameter and a tornado or two will be possible early this evening. Storms this evening will also be capable of heavy rain and minor flooding.
