Three teenagers have been arrested following a robbery and a chase in west Wichita.

It happened around 3 a.m. at the Kwik Shop at 37th and Maize Road.  Two 17-year-old and one 16-year-old male robbed the convenience store at gunpoint and then fled in a black Ford F-150.

Wichita Police say a Maize officer spotted the truck leaving the store and tried to pull them over.  The driver refused to stop and it led to a pursuit involving Wichita Police.

The teens crashed the pickup truck on West Street, underneath Kellogg.  They tried to get away on foot, but police say they were able to quickly bring them into custody.

They were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries before being booked into the Sedgwick County Juvenile Intake Center.  The 17-year-old driver is facing charges of felony flee and elude and aggravated robbery.

The other 17-year-old is charged with aggravated robbery and kidnapping.  The 16-year-old is charged with aggravated robbery.

No one else was hurt.
