There’s a dog wash fundraiser Saturday to benefit a small non-profit in the Wichita area. Heartstrings Animal Advocates is having a fundraiser from noon-4 at O’Malley’s Irish Pub at 2415 West 31st Street South. Funds raised from dog washes, nail trims, and microchipping will benefit dogs on death row.
Last weekend, Heartstrings saved 16 dogs and transported eight more to safety.
