Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Air Force and Air National Guard Veteran William Shuttleworth who is walking across the United States to raise money and awareness for veterans’ issues. William is walking to address homelessness, addiction, access to healthcare, and representation in government for Veterans.
William said, “Anytime I get my spirits down I just think about the people I’m going to meet and have met, it’s just really special.” From a Mom with seven children actively serving, to an amputee who continues to work. Shuttleworth said he is touched by the stories he has been told. Thank you William for your dedication and your service.
