Salina family connected to El Paso mass shooting

A family in Salina is connected to Saturday’s mass shooting at a Texas Mall.

Norma Coca says her daughter and son-in-law were involved in the shooting. They were at the WalMart in El Paso when the shooting began.

Coca says her daughter was shot three times in the leg and is in stable condition. Her son-in-law went through surgery and then was put in ICU but his condition is unknown.

The couple was at the El Paso Walmart to raise money for their son’s baseball team.

The couple called Salina home for ten years. They live in El Paso with their two children.
