The man killed in a grain truck accident on Friday is identified as 39-year-old Tim J. Hunt.
Fire crews were able to remove Hunt after he became stuck in a grain truck near 111th South and Hillside.
Sedgwick County deputies were called to a site at 2850 East 111th Street South around 12:15 p.m. Friday. Sheriff’s lieutenant Tim Myers said Hunt was in a trailer transferring corn to another trailer. Co-workers checked on him and found him trapped in the trailer. Hunt was pronounced dead at the scene.
