The Kansas Highway Patrol has identified a man who died a in crash Tuesday morning on I-235 near the K-254 Junction.
Troopers say 61-year-old Bruce Strawder of Wichita was traveling northbound on I-235 in the right lane when he lost control of his SUV. The vehicle struck a guard rail and overturned into the grass median.
Strawder was pronounced dead at the scene. The highway patrol indicates he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
