Two people are hurt after a shooting in downtown Wichita.

This was reported shortly after 8 a.m. at Broadway and Lewis. It is not known yet if the man and woman who were attacked were specifically targeted.

Injuries were initially described as critical.

A suspect was caught around 9:40, south of Kellogg and has been arrested for two counts of attempted murder. That person reportedly contacted police on their own after the shooting.

Officers have been going to area businesses to get security video that may show exactly what led up to this shooting.
