Investigators said spontaneous combustion was the cause of a two-alarm fire at a south Wichita building.

The fire was reported shortly after 6:30 Tuesday evening in the 700 block of East Zimmerly.  Crews reported flames coming from the building, but they got the fire under control within half an hour and no injuries were reported, other than a firefighter who was treasted for minor injuries.   Oil-soaked rags were blamed for the fire, which caused $75,000 in damage to the building.

The building is in a neighborhood south and west of the intersection of Lincoln and Washington.    Traffic was blocked at Zimmerly and Mead while crews battled the fire.
