Wichita’s city buildings are closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Transit services are not running Thursday, but the buses and Q-Line will run on Friday using Saturday’s schedule. Saturday will operate on the normal Saturday schedule.

All closures for Friday include City Hall, neighborhood resource centers, Wichita Public Library locations, Park & Recreation centers, Great Plains Nature Center, OJ Watson Park, Old Cowtown Museum, CityArts, Mid-America All-Indian Center, Century II administrative offices, Wichita TIX box office, Transit administrative offices, Environmental Health office, and WATER Center.

The Brooks Landfill will be open 7:30 to 4:30 on Friday.

The Animal Shelter will be open 1 to 5 on Friday.
