Wichita Police were involved in a chase with a stolen car that ended when the car crashed into a jeep and garage of a home in east Wichita.
Two officers spotted a stolen 2010 Honda Fit in the 1200 block of South Bluff View. They tried to pull the car over at Fountain and Morris, but the driver took off.
It led to a brief chase that ended in the 3100 block of East Gilbert when the 24-year-old driver crashed into a parked jeep and an attached garage of a home. The woman was arrested on charges of felony evade and elude, reckless driving, theft, destruction of property, and numerous traffic charges.
A 17-year-old in the car fled on foot, but was found a short time later with the help of a canine. He was an active runaway and had warrants.
The teen and a 20-year-old man who was in the car, were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. A 19-year-old woman in the car was not hurt.
