A tense situation with an armed man has come to a peaceful end. It started overnight at an apartment building at Pawnee and Meridian. Wichita Police said on Twitter that officers used time, distance and communication to end the situation peacefully. They said a “dangerous” person is arrested and no one injured.
Residents of Pawnee Park Apartments called KFDI News this morning and told us a man there was “depressed,” and had startled them overnight. They also tell us the man had fired a gun.
