One person was killed and another was injured Sunday morning when a truck overturned in south Wichita.
The crash was reported around 11:30 a.m. at the south junction of I-235 and I-135. 21-year-old Jimmy Romero, of Wichita, died at the scene. He was the passenger in the pickup that crashed.
Injuries to the driver of the pickup were described as minor.
A KHP crash report says the driver was on the ramp from southbound 135 to northbound 235, but lost control on an icy bridge while merging onto 235. The truck went off the road and rolled before landing on it’s roof in the median.
