A chase with Sedgwick County Sheriff’s deputies led to shots fired and the death of the suspect.
It began around 4 a.m. when deputies began pursuing a vehicle that refused to pull over in southeast Sedgwick County. It ended on Webb Road between Harry and Pawnee when shots were fired.
The suspect died at the scene. It’s not known yet who fired the shots.
Webb Road was shut down while the incident was under investigation. We will have more information as soon as it becomes available.
