A charge of first degree murder has been filed against a Wichita man after his two-month-old son died from abuse injuries.
23-year-old Marlin Williams was charged with aggravated battery after his son Marrell was found at a home January 10th in the 2800 block of South Emporia. Police found that the boy had suffered previous injuries and his twin sister had a healing broken leg. The girl and two other children were taken into protective custody.
Marlin Williams is being held on a bond of $500,000 and his next court appearance is scheduled for January 30th. He also faces three counts of aggravated battery.
