Justin Moore, finally took time out of his busy schedule to celebrate his 8th #1 record “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home”

Justin Moore celebrated his 8th #1 hit, “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home,” at an event hosted by ASCAP and BMI at The Sutler in Nashville. Standing alongside co-writers Chase McGill (4X No. 1 songwriter), Paul DiGiovanni (2X No. 1 songwriter) and producer Jeremy Stover (7X No. 1 songwriter), Moore gave a passionate thank you speech to everyone who contributed to the success of the song as the group acknowledged “it isn’t easy to get a power ballad about war to the top of the radio charts in the middle of summer!” Moore also choked up as he shared the emotional story of his daughter being saved at his church in Arkansas earlier in the week topping off both personal and professional peaks.

When it comes to Justin and his music, for the most part has always been, what you see is what you get.  99% of the time, you know what he’s singing and playing is going to lean more to the traditional sound of country.   In today’s Country Music Minute, he talks about that shift back to the traditional sound that’s going on right now in country music.
