Wichita police are treating the death of homeless man as a homicide.
59-year-old Bernard Woodard was found dead under the east side of the Douglas Bridge over the Arkansas River. A jogger found Woodard and called police shortly before 5 p.m. Monday.
This is being treated as a homicide because Woodard was found to have injuries that suggest he was beaten.
