The City of Wichita’s Water Utilities has implemented a new payment reminder call system for those behind on their water bills.
Starting Monday, customers behind on their bill who are at risk of having their service shut off will receive a call two business days before that shut off to remind the customer of the past due bill.
The service will be available in both English and Spanish. It will advise the customer to call 265-1300 where they can make a payment by phone. You can also call that number to opt out of receiving reminder calls.
Payments can also be made by mail or drop box, or online at Wichita.gov. Those who need assistance in paying their water bill should contact the Center of Hope at 267-0222 from 9am to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays only.
