Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors an ally, 99-year old World War II Veteran Tom Moore of Great Britain. I first introduced you to Tom a couple of weeks ago when he began his campaign to walk 100 laps in his garden, 10 laps a day, before his 100th birthday. When he started, he did it with hopes of raising a few thousand dollars for Britain’s healthcare workers on the front lines of the pandemic. When I first checked in with Tom he was approaching $11 million dollars. To date, he has hit the $30 million dollar mark and for his birthday has received over 125,000 birthday cards from people all over the world.
