Today’s Star Spangled Salute is part 3 to an inspiring story about British World War II Veteran Tom Moore. You remember Tom, who for his birthday did 100 laps in his garden before his birthday to raise money for pandemic relief in England.  Well, he’s back in the news again for a couple reasons.  He completed his mission, he did those 100 laps, he received recognition from all over the world, he raised $40 Million dollars and now, he will be forever known as “Sir Thomas Moore”. That’s right, when social distancing restrictions are lifted, Tom will be knighted for his fundraising and for being a light during his country’s very dark time. While it’s not official, thank you Sir Thomas Moore for your dedication and your service.
