Newman University says they plan to resume in-person classes for the fall 2020 semester.

The university says over the past month, groups have been working on plans for a safe return to campus for students, faculty, and staff.  Two task forces have nearly completed the university’s mitigation plan and developing a blue print for resuming operations.

Details are still forthcoming on the plan to resume normal operations, but the university says that all on-campus housing will shift to single room occupancy.  In light of that change, the university will not be requiring all freshman and sophomore students to live in residence halls if their home address is more than 30 miles from campus.
