Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Rose Hill native Jeremiah Bollig. Jeremiah is a 2014 graduate of Rose Hill High School and a graduate of Thomas Edison State University with an associates degree in mechanics. This was a course of study that has served him well because Jeremiah has served 6 years in the Navy as a gas turbine systems technician and is currently serving aboard the guided missile destroyer, the USS Roosevelt as Petty Officer 2nd Class, stationed in Rota, Spain. He also recently received a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his participation in an arctic patrol exercise. Thank you for making us Kansas Proud and thank you for your service Jeremiah.
