Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Veteran John Beach. John has always had a passion for rebuilding things. One day he came upon a couple of old sewing machines in a state of disrepair, and an idea came to him. He thought if he could rebuild them, he could use them to make masks for those who need them, despite the fact he had never sewn a stitch in his life. That didn’t stop John and before too long, the machines were fixed, he had a pattern and fabric from a local shop and he was teaching himself how to sew. Thank you John for your skills and thank you for your service.
