The Kansas Highway Patrol said a Nickerson man was killed in a crash Friday in northern Reno County.
The crash was reported around 2 p.m. on K-14 highway about four miles west of Nickerson. Troopers said a westbound car crossed the center line and hit an eastbound semi.
The driver of the car, 35-year-old Travis Mayer, was dead at the scene. The driver of the semi was not hurt.
K-14 was closed for several hours Friday afternoon while troopers investigated the crash.
