Police are investigating after a disturbance at an east side shopping center led to a high speed crash at an east Wichita intersection.
Officers were called to a report of someone waving a gun at Towne East Square early Sunday afternoon, and when they arrived, a black sedan sped away. Officers chased the car but then called off the chase due to high speeds. The sedan crashed into several vehicles at Kellogg and Oliver.
Two people were taken to a hospital for treatment after the crash, and police reported two people in custody. The crash is still under investigation.
