Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Marine Veteran John Welch. John, like many Veterans is diagnosed with PTSD and he doesn’t mind talking about it. In fact, he believes it’s important that he and other Veterans talk about it in order to heal. Part of John’s healing process led him to him turning reclaimed wood into patriotic works of art. He also joined Team Rubicon, a non-profit made up of Veterans and physicians who help in times of need, disaster and emergency. Thank you John for sharing your gifts and thank you for your service.
