Star Spangled Salute: Officers Landscape for a WWII Veteran

Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors two Massachusetts police officers and the World War II Veteran they helped.  Officers Dan Furbush and Michael DiLorenzo investigated a complaint by motorists about heavily overgrown bushes at a busy intersection that made it hard to see. They visited with the home owner and the 93-year old World War II Veteran understood the complaint but in his physical health and with lack of funds, he was unable to do anything about it.  So Officers Dan and Michael did.  With the help of the Veterans Affairs Office they did the much need landscaping solving the issue for the motorists and the Veteran.  Thank you Dan and Mike for being a light and thank you to that World War II Veteran for your service.
